Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. PRECAST (4) knuckled down strongly to get within 0. 9 lengths of the winner in third last start over 5½f at this track. Among the leading chances. I'M EUGENE (6) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track over 6f after being in the firing line on the corner. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. SCREAM (1) was far from disgraced when second last start over 5f at Stony Creek. That followed a win at Hanging Rock the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
