FAVOURED SON (2) went forward last start over 5½f at this track and held on well for second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Drawn to take a nice trail just off the speed. Looks well placed so expect another big run. KIMBERLEY CURRENCY (4) was given a short break after finishing 14th over 5½f at Albany. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Belmont Park. Rates highly and is one of the leading contenders. SHE'S SOME CRAIC (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Pinjarra Scarpside, beaten 1.3 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
