MAX MERCURY (4) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, working home in good style at the most recent outing to finish second over 1m1 3/4f at Great Western. Big chance to break through. GYMKHANA (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 3. 5 lengths when ninth over 1m at Cranbourne two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. OUTCASTER (15) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage sixth over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton. Look for a better run this time out. OCEAN SYMPHONY (2) accounted for a maiden field over 1m at Cranbourne last start when fresh from a break. Re-unites with Shane Foley who was on board last start. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
