HOLD THE DOOR (9) ran below expectations last time after being in contention on the bend at Randwick Kensington, finishing tenth and beaten 1. 5 lengths starting at 7/2. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SEPTIMUS (11) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Nowra over 1m3f, beaten one length. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Will find this a little tougher but is capable of featuring. AUTUMN HEIR (12) did little and finished 4 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Ipswich the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. WOUNDER (13) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Canterbury, finishing fourth and only 1. 5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1 1/2f. Nicely placed to run well.
