I AM ADONIS (7) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 2. 5 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 5½f at Rosehill. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. COPARTNER PEGASUS (1) resumed three weeks ago over 6f at Gosford and was only beaten 1. 4 lengths into fourth. It doesn't get any easier but with added fitness he is capable of a big performance. FLYING PARTY (4) is poised to win after placing at his last three outings, most recently when second after he was well back on straightening over 6f87yards at Orange. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. FUNSHOW (5) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 6½f at Newcastle. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Gosford trial. Can kick off with a bold showing.
