DARING FELLOW (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Gosford over 6f, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Should be at his peak now. The testing material. ISLA NEGRA (6) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 2. 75 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at Hawkesbury two weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. FEDERAL RESERVE (2) got off the mark over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) last start, scoring by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Mitchell Bell who was on board last start. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. OCEAN TSUNAMI (7) scored on debut last start over 6f at Scone on December 2, finishing a nose ahead of the nearest rival. Best figures read very well.
