OFFENBACH (4) started at 7/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 9 lengths at Hawkesbury over 5½f after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to turn things around. EXPEDITIOUSLY (3) has not raced since his debut back on October 12 when he finished ninth over 6½f at Kembla Grange. Capable of sharp improvement. QUEEN OF THORNS (6) is on the quick back up after sitting on the pace and boxing on well to finish third at Gosford 10 days ago. Good effort last start and should be in the finish. SHUTTERING (8) was always well back on debut last start but boxed on fairly to finish fifth over 5½f at Scone. Open to improvement and looks a contender.
