RHEGION (3) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook after he was in the firing line on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but he is one of the key runners. PREDICTING (2) finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6f at Newcastle, an improvement on his sixth at Goulburn the run before. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance. Lay-off. Better than recent efforts suggest.
