RICKYTHESTEAMBOAT (4) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. INCARCERATED (1) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing eighth at Warwick Farm. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Well placed and sure to run well. ROSE GOLD (8) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to finish 5 lengths away in third over 5f at Goulburn. Can get home into the finish. INTRUDER (2) returns after 11 months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 6½f at Randwick Kensington. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
