HYPERBOLIC (9) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.8 lengths of the winner in second last start over 5½f at Hawkesbury on debut. Sure to go well again. VINNIRO (10) was well fancied last time out but disappointed in finishing fifth over 5f at Kembla Grange, beaten 3 lengths. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. FLYING ARGYLE (1) hasn't been far away lately including a last-start second over 4½f at Newcastle. First try at this trip but should cope nicely. ALGARVE (11) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at Geelong, finishing fourth and beaten 5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement.
