RAVENCLAW (2) produced a good effort last start when second over 5½f at Randwick Kensington to make it three minor placings from five starts this campaign. Will find this easier than last start. Leading contender. KHAZNAH (6) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 2 lengths into third over 6½f at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Expected to be in the finish. SIGLO DE ORO (3) stuck on well last start to finish third over 6f at Kembla Grange after showing good early speed. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. Group 3 placegetter EMPRESS OF WONDER (4) is back at the races for the first time since February 25 2023. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Flemington. Among the better hopes.
