OBVIOUS STEP (1) drifted back and never got into the race when 5 lengths from the winner in eighth last time out over 6¾f at Rosehill. Anna Roper has been in the money at every start aboard this six-year-old mare so a big run is expected. INNERVOICE (5) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time before finding the line strongly to score by 1.2 lengths over 6¾f at this track. Will prove tough to hold out again. PAD THAI (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Gosford two-and-a-half weeks ago. Worth noting Lee Magorrian goes aboard. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. MICKEY'S MEDAL (3) is back at the races for the first time since October 14. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Kembla Grange. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
