ANNOY'EN ONE (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 6½f at Yea. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NORDIC (2) returns from a lay-off of 12 weeks and did score when resuming when last in work at Ballarat Synthetic over 6f. Lines up for the first time for the Barry Goodwin stable. Ran seventh in a trial at Pakenham over 4f recently. Has ability and should be right in the finish. PEINTRE'S PRIDE (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Balnarring, beaten 1. 5 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to get the prize. IRRESISTIBLE SIR (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only half a length over 5f at Healesville. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
