UNDERSTATED (13) proved too strong two runs ago at Mansfield. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 1m at Werribee, beaten 5 lengths. The engagement of L Taylor is a positive move. This doesn't look as hard so he will prove hard to beat. SACRA (9) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 1m1f at Hanging Rock, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Is yet to be beaten in two starts here. Melinda McDonald is a key engagement. Won't find this as tough so she can return to the winners' list. SHEZ STEAMIN' (10) finished fourth two runs back at Healesville then improved last time out to score by 3 lengths as favourite over 1m at this track. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task. MIDIVANI (5) finished 2.5 lengths away from the winner last time at Healesville and gets some weight relief here. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be thereabouts.
