SPEEDY BEAR (1) has been in the placings at both runs this prep, most recently a closing second over 6f at this track. Fitter and should be in the finish. HUMBER RIVER (5) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 6f. Open to improvement and is among the chances. MAGIC POWER (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when sixth over 5f at Woodbine four weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RAT PORTAGE (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
