CAPTIVATING NAME (4) improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1m1/2f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 8 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. BLONDINA'S BOY (6) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 7 lengths when seventh in a 1m1/2f contest at Woodbine two weeks ago. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. SHAMATEUR (1) was thereabouts two starts ago before a disappointing eighth most recently over 1m1/2f at this track. Can do much better this time. BOURBONONAHOLIDAY (8) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m1/2f at this track when he finished fifth. This is his first run for the Allen Desruisseaux stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
