MAKER'S FLATTER (8) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2. 5 lengths back in fourth over 1m1/2f at Woodbine All Weather. Rates highly and expected to go well. KEYNOTE SPEAKER (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 7f at Woodbine All Weather, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. GELATO (9) is a three-year-old gelding who is still a maiden after seven starts but has been in the placings three times. Failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last start, beaten 7 lengths into sixth over 1m1/2f at Woodbine All Weather. One of the main contenders.
