MY COVENANT (4) resumed last time out and finished second over 5½f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Has a decent record at this circuit with a win and three minor placings from four starts. Credentials hard to fault. SAMMYSAURUS REX (3) broke through for his maiden win over 5½f at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. CARNEW (1) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at this track when he did his best work late, beaten 6 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. KOKOMO (5) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 6 lengths into fifth over 5½f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
