MAYCOCKS BAY (6) switches to synthetic for the first time. Form in two runs this campaign has been very good including a last start third, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 1m1/2f on turf at Keeneland Turf. Takes on a better field this time but should measure up. JOKESTAR (4) returns from a break of nine weeks. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a second over 1m4f at Oaklawn Park. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. CHURCH AND STATE (5) is a four-year-old import having his first run for the Dale A Desruisseaux barn. Back from a break after finishing ninth over 1m1/2f in Listed grade at Gulfstream Park Turf (Turf) at his last appearance five-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but a bold showing expected. Set Weights IFT DELIVERY (3) finished eighth over 1m2f in Listed grade at Turfway Park (Synthetic) at his most recent appearance on December 6. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
