MISTER BLUE (5) resumes in easier company after he was well fancied but safely held when fifth over 6f in stakes class at this track in a strong race at the latest apearance five-and-a-half months ago. Fraser Aebly has registered two minor placings when on board. Should be hard to stop. SMOKIN EMPIRE (2) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish third over 5f at this track. Big chance based on that effort. BRACHETTO (6) resumes from a lay-off of five months after two solid runs during the maiden campaign, the latest a third over 6f at this track. Should take a lot from that first campaign and is high among the list of chances. EQUITY (1) is a nicely bred three-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By Tacitus from Tranquil Song who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Importantly has a nice gate and looks certain to be competitive.
