Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Leo Salles gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HEAT MERCHANT (12) has not won for a long while. Last raced on September 29 when beaten 11 lengths into fourth at Fort Erie over 6½f. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention.
