PHILLIP MY WINE (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 6 lengths over 1m1/2f at this track. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. KEKOA (5) is a talented gelding who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 11 lengths behind Friendly Ghost over 7f at Listed level at this track. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from four starts. Should be in the finish. PIERRE (3) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m1f at this track, finishing 5 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the bend. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. RAPID GREY (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 6f at this track. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
