PURRFECT GIRL (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing second and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m1/2f after being prominent at the corner. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. MRS HOT SHOT (8) finished 6 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Right in the mix. AIN'T NO LADY (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 1m at Presque Isle Downs, beaten 8 lengths into fourth. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to take this out. SARATOGA EMPRESS (7) turned things around last start and landed the prize by half a length over 1m at this track. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling.
