NEVER SURPRISED (2) went forward when resuming last start and proved too strong, getting home by a nose over 7½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. RON'S GIZMO (1) resumed over 1m1/2f at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 0.3 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and is expected to run well again. MCAVOY (3) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1m1/2f here last time. Can play a role in the finish. SHERLOCK'S JEWEL (5) dug deep to win by half a length two runs back at Aqueduct (Turf) then finished sixth over 1m in the G3 Poker Stakes at Saratoga (Turf) last time. Will find this easier. Top-three chance.
