FLYING BLACK (3) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by half a length over 1m1/4f at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic) last start. Sound record at this distance with five wins and eight minor placings from 19 runs and is right in this. SHE MAKES A POINT (5) settled well back last start and never threatened when 8 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7½f at this track. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. THAT GIRL ARTEMUS (2) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished sixth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 6½f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is up to the challenge. KATHERINE'S GEM (6) finished third last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance.
