PIERRE (4) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.1 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1/2f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MALDINI (5) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten one length. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. BOWMAN'S RUN (8) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1m1/2f at this track but could only manage fourth, although only 1.5 lengths from the winner. Solid top-three chance. UNBRIDLED WEATHER (7) has not been sighted since he scored over 6½f at this track on October 20. Everything points to a big run.
