Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1m1/2f at this track. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. MIDNIGHT TEMPESTA (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 5½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. FANORE (3) is back from a lay-off of six months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1m1/2f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
