Group 2 winner CANDY OVERLOAD (3) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 5½f in stakes class at this track, getting home by half a length. Winning rider Patrick Husbands retains the mount. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is capable of testing his rivals. Group 3 winner IRONSTONE (2) resumed last start over 5½f in Listed grade at this track and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 1.5 lengths.
