Group 3 placegetter BORDER TOWN (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 7½f at Gulfstream Park after being in contention on the turn. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. NICE ACE (2) is back at the races for the first time since August 21. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/4f at Presque Isle Downs. Should be hard to stop. SECRET RESERVE (1) Group 3 winner. Returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at this track. Sure to make his presence felt. Group 2 placegetter LUCKMAN (4) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 3 finishing 13th and beaten 12 lengths over 1m4f in the G3 Valedictory Stakes at this track. One to consider.
