Sure to be in the finish. POISED (5) is a seven-start maiden who was close to a win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at Werribee. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Nicely placed and expected to go well. TUTTO FINITO (12) was solid on debut last start when beaten 2. 5 lengths into fourth over 5f at Canberra on March 25. Open to improvement and looks a contender. IVY'S WISH (8) is a three-year-old filly on debut by Merchant Navy from Sastruga who has been a prolific producer of winners. At her most recent trial was unplaced at Geelong. Promising type who can play a big role.
