DEEP STREAM (2) finished third at Kilmore two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca, finishing 8 lengths back in sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. BORN SURVIVOR (1) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 7f at Wangaratta, making it two minor placings in a row. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JAPPALOUIS (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at Wangaratta five days ago. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MEKA VIBE (5) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Corowa, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
