CROATIAN ART (7) built on a nice third two starts back at Ballarat Synthetic with a win over 6f at Warracknabeal a month ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Teo Nugent scored on her last time and retains the ride. Has the class to build on that fine effort last start. HELLBERG (15) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Ballarat Synthetic, finishing third and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SHEILA (3) last appeared two weeks ago over 6f at Benalla when she finished 12th. This is her first run for the Gerald Egan stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race. FRENCH LOLLY (5) broke his maiden last start over 5f at Ballarat Synthetic, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
