BELLARCHI (4) stepped out on his debut over 6f at Warrnambool four weeks ago and finished fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. TELESCOPE (13) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at Moonee Valley. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. SMARTSET (7) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths over 6f at Dunkeld. Expected to feature with improvement to come. CAPITAL WIN (10) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start over 6½f at Wangaratta, beaten 1.3 lengths. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question.
