RUNAWAY SOUL (1) fought on for second last start over 7f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ARTISTIC DANCER (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 14 lengths back in ninth over 1m at Donald. Must be included among the main hopes. HUNITCHIWA (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 16 lengths away in 12th over 6½f at Wangaratta. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
