Nicky Richards doesn't often send runners to Windsor so it's interesting that the promising NAB WOOD (5) makes the lengthy journey. Won two of his three hurdle starts this season while looked to relish the testing conditions when pulling away to score by 3. 5L at Carlisle (3m1f) in December. Up 7lb in the weights for that effort. Can still take another step forward. LUD'OR (3) needs to prove his stamina over this distance however he appreciates soft ground and cannot be ignored following a good third in a competitive handicap hurdle at Newbury. ROYAL RAMBLER (7) finished sixth attempting that Newbury event and might go well having since gone on to be a good second raised in trip at Chepstow. TRANQUIL SEA (11) makes place appeal.
