I AM GRODD (7) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance 11 weeks ago over 1m at Remington Park (Dirt). Comes here with definite claims. PAPA FUNNY (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park, beaten 7 lengths into sixth. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. COASTAL BRINK (4) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Sam Houston Park, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
