Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. WASHITA VALLEY (2) is back at the races for the first time since December 4. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Remington Park. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. CODE JORGIE (7) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. WAR FOR GOLD (3) broke his maiden last start over 1m at this track (Dirt) when resuming, scoring by 6 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Isaiah Wiseman who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
