XPLOSIVE FIRE (3) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1½f at Prairie Meadows (Dirt), finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. RITA AGV (5) was well-fancied last time out but raced below par and could only manage sixth over 1½f at Fair Meadows (Dirt). Nicely placed to turn things around. THE JESSE JAMES (8) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 1f130yards at Fair Meadows (Dirt) three months ago. Among the better hopes. ITS D THIRTY (2) raced on the pace over 1f80yards at Fair Meadows (Dirt) last time and went on to win by 0.3 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from five outings. Best form too good to ignore.
