PEPPERMINT CANDY (7) was prominent into the straight when resuming last start but weakened to finish fourth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Should camp just off the leaders. Leading contender. TWENTY TO PARK (4) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Won't find this as tough so he is sure to prove hard to beat. STORM CATCHER (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) with a win as favourite over 5f at this track (Dirt) seven weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Elvin Gonzalez scored on him last time and retains the ride. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. HARD CANDY (3) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Has a formidable record at this journey with two wins and four placings from six starts and is a key contender.
