Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. FIERCE FIGHTER (5) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 7f at Warrnambool. Has the class to take care of this field. DOUBLET (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when eighth in a 6f124yards contest at Geelong two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. NEWCOMBE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1m at Stony Creek. Nicely placed to find winning ways.
