ROSE DIAMOND (11) tackled city class latest when seventh at Caulfield Heath, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Best form puts her right in this. HRUNGNIR (2) is still a maiden after 10 starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 1m at Stawell following a minor placing at Ararat over 6½f the run prior. Cannot be left out of calculations. THUNDERING FALCON (7) drifted back on debut last start then wound up nicely to finish in the placings over 1m at Colac. Promising type with improvement to come so he is a strong chance. MR MARIGOLD (4) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 7f124yards at Yarra Valley. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
