MINERS MATE (2) is yet to break through after four career starts. Managed to find the placings at Quirindi two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 5½f at Bathurst last time. Terrific chance to break through. HARRY (1) finished third at Dubbo two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Warren, finishing 7 lengths back in seventh. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. SUMMER SONATA (8) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when third, beaten 0. 8 lengths, at Gilgandra over 6f. Among the leading chances. THE FIRE INSIDE (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Warren, beaten 11 lengths into ninth. No surprise to see her in contention.
