CHARLOTTING (7) showed good speed to lead over 1m3f at Dubbo last start but faded right out of it to finish sixth. Should be poised just off the lead. Expecting a bold showing. THE BENTLEY (6) turned in a sound effort when resuming on turf when runner-up over 1m at Moree. Came on from the run and scored on dirt over 1m at Walgett last time. In great form and is a major player again. EGYPTOLOGIST (4) proved too strong two runs ago at Hawkesbury. Couldn't follow that up last time out when 11th over 1m at Warren, beaten 12 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. THE GREAT ARMADA (5) was in the placings when 2. 1 lengths away from the winner last time at Tamworth on soft going and drops in the weights. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the better hopes.
