FEIRME PRINCE (7) hit the frame two starts ago at Muswellbrook but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 2.75 lengths over 5½f at Mudgee. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MY ODDETTE (5) scored on turf over 6f at Warren two starts ago then couldn't find the top-three on dirt over 6f at Brewarrina more recently. Strong contender back on the turf. BRITISH STATESMAN (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Mudgee, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the turn. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. No surprise to see him in the frame.
