VAQUERO (9) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m at Orange. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. BEG ME (7) improved sharply on his tenth two starts back at Orange with success over 1m1f at Merriwa a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. LAISVAS (8) won her maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at her last two runs, most recently when second over 1m at Narromine. Winning rider Mikayla Weir stays aboard. One of the main contenders. WEAVE THAT WEB (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Orange, beaten 2.5 lengths into seventh. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
