Has the ability to figure prominently. ASTERN EFFORT (1) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 21 lengths back in 11th over 7f in the LR Australia Post Stakes at Eagle Farm five months ago. Trialling well leading into this. Right in this. HALFACHANCE (2) was beaten just a head last start when fresh from a lay-off and landed his first top-three finish in the process at Gold Coast over 6f.
