RIMBAUD (1) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was prominent at the corner before being beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth over 6f at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including three top-three finishes. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ZALE (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 5½f at Canterbury. Nicely placed to take this out. WHO BUT ROO (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 3. 5 lengths when seventh in a 5½f contest at this track three weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. BEFORE THE WAR (3) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a head over 5½f at Wodonga last time out. Can feature in the finish again.
