PAPPA BLUE (7) is in great form lately, lifting strongly to score over 7f at Kembla Grange last time, making it two wins on the trot. Looks ready for the longer journey. In form and pay to stick with him. OSO SPIRITED (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 1. 75 lengths at this course and distance when resuming from a layoff last start. Has the class to take this out. MALABAR (1) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by half a length last time out over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. MORNINGTON PIER (2) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a sixth, beaten 1. 3 lengths, over 7f at Kembla Grange. Will find this tougher but is among the better hopes.
