Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Canterbury over 6f. Has trialled well leading into this. Nicely placed and expected to go well. ALPHARD (4) returned last time with a solid third at Canterbury over 6¼f. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. SARAPO (3) resuming from a four-and-a-half months break after finishing 13th in the G3 Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill and resumes here a gelding. Fitter for a fourth in a trial over 5½f at Canterbury. Has to be respected.
