STEEL STRIKE (2) was fresh from a break of nine months last start when beaten one length into third over 6f at this track after he was up on the pace all the way. The extra journey should play into his hands. Likely to play a major role. STARMAN (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Randwick Kensington over 7f after being prominent until the final stages. In the right race and should be thereabouts.
